Massage therapy can help with more than just tight/sore muscles.

Massage therapy can help with more than just tight/sore muscles.

I was talking to a friend yesterday who said he doesn’t go in for massage because his body doesn’t hurt. It surprised me and got me thinking that many people may think that massage is only beneficial if your muscles are in pain.

This is so far from the truth. In my practice alone, there are many different things I can help with other than the muscular pain in a body. I’ve made a list of some different things that the massage modalities I use can help with, and we’ll spend the next few weeks talking about them.

Of course, I can help with:

  • Neck/Back Pain/Body Pain,
  • Injury Rehabilitation,
  • Improve athletic performance,
  • Joint Pain, etc.

But did you know I can also help with:

  • Fibromyalgia,
  • Digestive Problems,
  • Insomnia,
  • Anxiety,
  • Depression,
  • PTSD,
  • ADHD,
  • Migraines/Headaches,
  • Stress Relief,
  • Postpartum Relief and so many others?

I use a variety of modalities such as Craniosacral Therapy, Abdominal Detox Massage (Chi Nei Tsang), Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy in addition to Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques to help address all these problems and more.

Stay tuned for a more in depth look at how I can be of help to you and your loved ones. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions I can answer for you now or if there is a topic you’d like to read about first.
